Presales Solutions Architect

Arraya Solutions is looking to add a Presales Solutions Architect to our team. In this role, you will be a key contributor and lead engagements with our clients to design Modern Workplace, Cloud focused solutions.  You will collaborate with our clients to define journey maps, adoption plans, and long-term strategy.  You will have the opportunity to execute a solution selling methodology while fulfilling requests for service and solution proposals from customers and field sales teams.

 Responsibilities

  • Work in a Microsoft focused pre-sales environment on solutions around the following:
    • Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Intune & Autopilot
    • Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Identity Management, ADFS
  • Develop statements of work, proposals, and RFP responses to clients
  • Conduct white boarding sessions, create diagrams, and technical solution roadmaps
  • Explore and examine the client’s business goals and objectives to create solutions
  • Present solutions to clients and address any issues/concerns
  • Identify, validate, and grow opportunities in high potential customer accounts
  • Partner with the sales team to build customer relationships
  • Increase customer loyalty through effective communications, professionalism, and going beyond customer expectations
  • Provide pipeline and forecast updates as needed
  • Provide market intelligence to management and staff and participate in development of future solution strategies and offerings
  • Participate with OEM vendors and SE teams on product roadmaps and strategy
  • Participate in the preparation of sales campaigns, business plans, and technology heat maps for prospects
  • Participate in continued education in all aspects of the solutions within your area of expertise
  • Stay informed about new services, technologies, and other information that may be of interest to clients
  • Maintain existing certifications and continue to grow technical skill set
  • Pricing and scoping managed service designs
  • Manage Microsoft Licensing via CSP, EA and Open Licensing

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands on experience in IT
  • 4+ years of experience in an Engineer or Consultant role
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft focused Workspace Platforms such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Autopilot, Windows 10, Intune
  • Experience with similar products and solutions from other vendors is preferred, such as WebEx Teams, Google Apps
  • Proven experience of successful solution selling in a Microsoft focused pre-sales environment on solutions around the following:
    • Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Intune & Autopilot
    • Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Identity Management, ADFS
  • Required experience in developing statements of work, proposals, and RFP responses to clients
  • Required experience in conducting white boarding sessions, creating diagrams, technical solution roadmaps
  • Experience with exploring and examining the client’s business goals and objectives to create solutions
  • Experience presenting solutions to clients and addressing any issues/concerns
  • Must have the ability to analyze existing and anticipated client requirements and promote consideration of companies’ solutions and services to meet the client’s requirements
  • Strongly prefer experience with Microsoft cloud security and governance including identity, policy setting, Azure AD security
  • Preferred experience in pricing and scoping managed service designs
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Licensing via CSP, EA and Open Licensing
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and communicate with other team members
  • Must have excellent communication, documentation, and customer facing skills
  • A desire to learn and be a problem solver

Education and Training

  • Prefer multiple Microsoft professional level certifications such as MCP, MCSA, MCSE

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours/week
  • This position is a fully remote (WFH) position
  • This position will require occasional travel to customer sites as needed for discovery and planning
  • This position will require occasional visits to the regional Arraya office in Blue Bell, PA
