Technical Services Manager

Arraya Solutions is looking for a Technical Services Manager to join our technology team. In this role, your responsibilities will include supervision of engineering staff, assignment of project activities with functional oversight of engineering workload, validation of project effort estimates, maintenance of OEM partner competency requirements and engagement with Customer stakeholders on solution paths. This role is strategic to the growth of our delivery practice and the development of cross-functional relationships within the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide functional oversight of engineering resources and maintain staffing levels
  • Support technical validation of service scope, assumptions, and boundaries
  • Work with project management office to ensure resources are assigned to project activities with appropriate planning and prep time
  • Meet with project stakeholders to develop solution paths to technical issues
  • Work with Line of Business leaders to develop and support new products and services
  • Maintain channel partner certification and competency requirements
  • Develop methodologies and guidelines to introduce consistency into our delivery processes
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external groups to scale delivery capacity
  • Coordinate training and growth opportunities for engineers

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of five years’ IT industry experience leading small to medium technical work teams in Managed Services and enterprise-class projects
  • Strong technical background in compute, network, storage, and virtualization technologies with experience implementing and supporting products from Dell EMC, VMware, Cisco and Microsoft
  • Experience with public cloud solutions from Microsoft, Amazon, and IBM
  • Experience with Unified Communications software and solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate customer requirements and develop technical solution paths to address project issues or support project outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and coach IT resources
  • Familiarity with channel partner program requirements and certification paths
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and skills
