ARRAYA'S ALLSTARS

What makes you proud to work for Arraya?

I love working for a small company where you get the opportunity to make a difference. I get the chance to work proficiently in my business unit and build strong relationships, but I also have insight into other business units across the board. This includes not only the technical realm but the business side as well, including finance, accounting, and sales. I have worked for many large companies, but you just can't beat working with a small group of folks who all seek to reach our goals and be successful.

What’s one skill that you’ve improved in the last year? How did you do it?

This is my first year at Arraya (I started in January 2023). I had a similar role in my last company but feel like what I do, day in and day out, is making a difference here. My goals for next year are to continue to contribute to our overall business efficiencies, work smarter, and deliver the best possible services to our customers. I’m confident that the Managed Services Team will see great success in 2024.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?

Customer quote, “Don’t make your problems my problems.” I aim to focus on being as proactive as possible and get in front of the issue before a customer even recognizes that there is an issue. Unfortunately, I know that some issues are beyond our control but building a great relationship with our customers and gaining their trust goes a long way when confronted with those unforeseen issues. Working collaboratively is what I strive for every day.

What’s a part of your job that you particularly enjoy?

I enjoy working with my assigned customers, getting to know them and their business, and presenting options that will help them plan and strategize for the very complex IT environment that we all work in these days.

What’s one moment of success you experienced this week?

I am heading into my 11th month at Arraya. Starting a new job can be challenging but I finally feel as if I have settled in, gotten to know all my peers, and know how to address customer issues as they arise. My success this week is my continued growth in my current role, and I aim to continue to contribute to OUR overall goal here at Arraya to be successful.

Outside of work, what activity makes you lose track of time?

I love spending time with my two girls (ages 17 & 19), even if it’s running errands or working on projects around the house. They always make me laugh and make me feel younger than I am.
