Arraya Solutions 365+ Now Supports AIX (LPAR)
Arraya Solutions’ Alert 365+ enterprise support solution already delivers cloud-based monitoring for a variety of industry-leading platforms and applications, including VMware vSphere®, Microsoft SharePoint and Cisco Unified Communications. You can now add IBM’s trusted hypervisor to the list of supported products.
Arraya’s development team focused their efforts on building a comprehensive list of checks designed to guarantee the health of logical partitions (LPARS). This includes user/process counts, CPU load, memory usage, used free space, entitled capacity percentage, disk/network I/O and more. Customers looking to monitor utilization and performance for logical partitions can rely on the same managed service they use to guarantee availability for other infrastructure components.
Arraya Solutions can also assume management and administration responsibilities for a Customer’s AIX infrastructure. In addition to regular health checks and HMC code/firmware updates, Arraya Solutions Manage 365+ enterprise management solution supports the following administrative tasks:
- Create/Delete OS Logical Partitions
- Manage partition/system profiles
- Manage partition resources (DLPAR)
- Start/stop partitions
- Perform IOP Reset/Control Storage Dump
- Power cycle I/O Domain
- Reset Service Processor
- Manage HMC Users/Profiles
