Arraya Solutions Selected as 2017 Top Workplace by Philly.com
March 28, 2017 – Arraya Solutions announced today it has been awarded a 2017 Top Workplaces honor by Philly.com. The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. This is Arraya’s third consecutive year being named to the list in the small company category, which includes companies with less than 150 employees.
“The Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest. And oftentimes, people assume it’s all about fancy perks and benefits.” says Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics. “But to be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day—the employees. Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together. Claffey adds, “Without this sense of connection, an organization doesn’t have a shot at being named a Top Workplace.”
“It’s an honor to have Arraya named as one of the top places to work in the Philadelphia area for the third year in a row,” said Daniel Lifshutz, CEO of Arraya Solutions. “When its employees are proud and eager to come into work, a company can accomplish great things. We take enormous pride in our company culture and make every effort to create a work environment where employees can thrive. Receiving this affirmation from our employees is a testament to our commitment to this goal and I’m excited by what that means for the company’s future.”
Arraya ranks 15th overall in the Small Company category of this year’s Top Workplaces list. The employee surveys used to compile the list focus on three main areas: organizational health, individual job satisfaction, and employee engagement. Organizational health assesses the fundamentals of the company including values, execution, leadership, and culture. This is followed by the “My Job” section which looks into an individual’s day-to-day job – aspects like managers, pay, training, and work/life balance. Lastly, the survey explores how employees feel about working at the company overall, with questions to determine motivation, wanting to stay, and wanting to recommend working for the company to others.
